Polyurethane foam – is the group of gas-filled plastics based on polyurethanes, 85-90% consisting of inert gas phase. Depending on the type of the original polyurethane, it can be rigid or flexible ("foam"). Used very widely: rigid - as thermal and sound insulation and light forming elements, flexible - as soft coatings and wag in the household and industry as artificial sponges for washing and dust filters, the material for paint rollers and inserts in garments, cushion packing.

Little heat conductivity

Polyurethane foam (PFA) has low heat conductivity 0,019-0,03 W/mК. It almost on an order lower than such widespread heat insulator, as mineral cotton.

Mounting on any surface

PFA glued literally, to any surface, even to the most difficult on configuration surface, filling all present on it burries and emptinesses in those zones, where traditional heater is powerless. To all other, for a foam no additional fastening is required, that are the "cold bridges " and disturb the normal functioning of other types of heat-insulation.

Ecological cleanness

PFA - completely safe product in terms of ecology. It does not contain the chemical compounds destroying ozone, including, freon, HCFC, asbestos or formaldehyde. It does not secrete toxic substances, provides the hundred-per-cent water ejection. Hereupon it is considered fully harmless for an environment. Similar ecological descriptions of this material allow to use  sprayable thermal insulation practically everywhere, including at erection of vegetable stores, warming of food production and even medical institutions.

Duration of exploitation

The best certificate of considerable longevity of any material used in building is guarantee period equal  to 50 years. PFA is not prone to shrinkage and deformation with time and practically its product life is comparable with the life cycles of structures.

Warning of corrosion and appearance of fungus

Heat-insulation materials from PFA act as an effective air barrier, preventing to passing of warm air through the building structures. They prevent from the initiation of corrosion of metallic constructions and from development of fungus and mould in apartments.

Energy saving

Production of heat-insulation of house by means of PFA, allows to save considerably on the size of utility bills - to 50 percents. And all this is due to effective heat conservation. At present prices on energy resources counting up an eventual effect is not difficult at all.

Application of heat-insulation materials

The sprayable thermal insulation is used for warming of apartments, at building of food storage depoes, stock-raising apartments, warming of metallic hangars, and also in the production of all types of foam polystyrene is as qualitative as with polyurethane foam.

The fact is that as though you try to put foam polystyrene nevertheless considerably higher than at polyurethane foam.

Myth three : Mineral wool is more ecological than polyurethane foam

There is an opinion that mineral wool is made from a stone, and polyurethane foam is chemical. This is because people are not well-informed or do not realize that for making mineral cotton wool from an ecological stone you need a link - formaldehyde, which in turn is harmful and vaporizes during the term of being in your house. Polyurethane foam is harmless, produces no harmful fumes, not allergen, used for making of mattresses, edging of cars and used in vegetable stores for optimization of temperature condition.
